CoSHH Cabinets
Pharmacy Medical manufacture a leading range of CoSHH Cabinets. All of these cabinets conform to the ‘Control of Substances Hazardous to Health’ regulations and are available in a range of sizes across four storage types.
These are as follows:
- General CoSHH (Grey)
- Hazardous / Flammable (Yellow)
- Acid and Alkali (White)
- Agrochemical / Pesticide (Red)
All of the above types offer the same construction of cabinet, painted in a different colour and are designed to highlight the contents type. This is with the exception of the agrochemical cabinets which have a ventilated door. Whilst the hazardous substance are the most common, all four types have a place in most workplaces and the need for each one can be identified often by the labels on the back of the products themselves.
General CoSHH (Grey)
Manufactured from 1.2mm thick mild steel and powder coated grey, these cabinets feature a cam lock provided with two keys, but can be specified with a push button electronic lock as a cost option. Featuring a fully welded sump to catch spills, they also feature height adjustable helving which is slanted backwards to send spills down the back and into the sump.

Hazardous / Flammable (Yellow)

These are the most common cabinet for CoSHH storage and feature our largest range of ‘stock’ sizes.
